IDOT Highway District 1:
DUPAGE COUNTY
IL 53 – Roadway reconstruction from Army Trail Rd to Elgin O’Hare Expressway in Addison & Itasca; one lane open in each direction.
IL Route 38 is permanent closures leaving one lane in each direction from Kirk Road to east of Kress Road in Geneva and West Chicago. (Kane and DuPage Counties)
Joliet Street in West Chicago is closed between IL 59 and IL 38.
COOK COUNTY
Channelization and traffic signal on McCarthy Road with one lane open in each direction (EB & WB); and Walker Road one lane open in each direction (NB and SB), in Lemont.
Cumberland Avenue over I-90; traffic reduced to 2 lanes in each direction.
Willow Road from Shermer Road to Patriot Blvd in Northbrook & Glenview – one lane in each direction open to traffic.
IL Route 1 (Halsted St) at Ridge Road and north of 183rd St. in Homewood – one lane open in each direction. Bridge reconstruction. Expect delays.
71st at CSX RR; Bridgeview; roadway reconstruction; roadway closed – detour posted.
Il 58 at New Wilke Road in Rolling Meadows has one lane open in each direction with a left turn lanes at signalized intersections.
Walnut Lane in Schaumburg is northbound only between IL 58 and Bode.
One lane open in each direction on Peterson Ave (IL 14) over the North Branch of the Chicago River.

Willow Road from IL 43 (Waukegan Road) to I-94, there will be one lane in each direction open to through traffic. That includes the traffic on IL 43 (Waukegan Road) at Willow Road.
Longmeadow Lane in Hanover Park is closed between IL 19 and Westchester
71st street, from Roberts Road to Harlem Avenue in Bridgeview – grade separation improvement: road closed to all traffic; detour signs posted.
76th Avenue, from 131st Street to 127th Street in Palos Heights Road closed to through traffic and detour signs are posted to direct traffic.
Central Ave and I-55 one lane in each direction on Central. Exit Ramp from NB I-55 to Central and Entrance Ramp to SB I-55 are closed. Expect delays.
Touhy Avenue bridge/I-94 (Edens Expressway) will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
Thorn Creek Drive over Thorn Creek in the Village of Park Forest. One lane will be shared for north bound and south bound equally; with traffic signals. Please watch traffic signals for your turn.
Walnut Lane in Schaumburg is northbound only between IL 58 and Bode.
IL Route 83, Western Ave/Dixie Highway to Kedzie Ave, (in Posen) one lane open in each direction. Expect delays.
KANE COUNTY
IL Route 64 from west IL 59 to west of 7th Ave., one lane open in each direction.
US 20 over McLean Blvd – traffic change on Interchange reconstruction in Elgin; two lanes open in each direction.
IL 31 @ METRA RR – Bridge rehabilitation in Elgin; one lane open in each direction.
Van Buren in East Dundee is northbound traffic only between IL 72 and Williams Place.
IL 47 over Virgil ditch #2 – One lane traffic utilizing temporary traffic signals.
LAKE COUNTY
IL 21 from south of IL 120 to south of IL 137; one lane of traffic in each direction on IL 21 and one lane of traffic in each direction on IL 137 at the intersection with IL 21.
Permanent closures on I-94 from IL 173 to the Wisconsin State Line; three lanes will be open throughout the whole project. The IL 173 Bridge over I-94 will be reduced to one lane in each direction for the entire project.
WB traffic on IL 173, cannot enter the ramp to EB I-94 –follow posted detour –Traffic eastbound will still be able to use the entrance ramp.
McHENRY COUNTY
IL 31 at IL 176 and at Terra Cotta Ave. in Crystal Lake, Nunde Township and unincorporated McHenry County, one lane open in each direction.
Algonquin Bypass project, IL 31 from south Junction to north junction has one lane open in each direction.
Algonquin Road (IL 62) will remain one lane open in each direction from Meyer Drive to IL 31.
WILL COUNTY
I-94 (Bishop Ford Freeway) at Stony Island, ramp from northbound Stony Island & 103rd St. to WB I-94 and SB I-57 closed. Please follow posted detour.
I-55 over the Des Plaines River near Channahon (South of I-80) – one lane closed in each direction. Expect long delays. Please use alternate route if possible.
Weber Road at Renwick Road – one lane open in each direction.
IL 394, Steger Road to IL 1 in Crete. One lane closed in each direction. Expect delays.
Stuenkel Road and Harlem Avenue near Monee. East bound Stuenkel Road is closed and detoured between Harlem Ave. and Ridgeland Ave. The west bound lane is open to traffic. Harlem Ave is closed and detoured between Steger Road and Dralle Road.
US 59 at Andrew Rd & Pasquinelli Dr. in Plainfield (SB & NB only) has one lane and one left turn lane that is open to traffic. The inside lane is permanently closed until 9/2013.
IDOT Highway District 2:
JODAVIESS COUNTY
US 20 east of East Dubuque; one lane open in each direction as two bridges over the Sinsinawa River and Menominee Road are replaced.
US 20 five miles east of Galena near Devil’s Ladder Road. Replacement of the culvert over a drainage ditch; one lane open and controlled by temporary traffic signals.
Ill 84 north of US 20 near Council Hill Road. Replacing two culverts with traffic restricted to one lane and controlled by temporary traffic signals.
ROCK ISLAND COUNTY
I-80 over the Mississippi River at Rapids City. Westbound I-80 is restricted to one lane as the structure is being repaired and painted.
STEPHENSON COUNTY
US Business 20 east of Freeport. Traffic is restricted to one lane in each direction as the bridge deck is replaced on the structure carrying Bus US 20 over the CC&P RR.
WINNEBAGO COUNTY
I-90 from Rockton Road to the Wisconsin State line at South Beloit. Two lanes are open in each direction on the northbound lanes as the southbound pavement is being removed and replaced.
IL 2 (South Main Street) from north of Beltline Road to north of Harrison Avenue in southwest Rockford. Restricted to one lane open in each direction as the pavement is removed and replaced.
IL 2 (North Main Street) from Elmwood Road to Latham Road north of Rockford. The east Old River Road approach is closed and traffic detoured on county highways as the intersection is reconstructed as part of the project to expand IL 2 from two lanes to four lanes.
BUS US 20 (West State Street) from Sunset Avenue to Kent Creek in Rockford. Roadway is closed with detour route in place while the roadway reconstruction is completed. Detour is on City streets using Horace Ave, Preston Ave, Avon Street, Cedar Street and Wyman Ave.
IDOT Highway District 3:
Bureau County
I-80, MP 56 to MP 61, one lane closed in each direction for bridge replacements.
I-80, WB, MP 51, one lane closed for pavement replacement.
I-80, WB Rest Area, MP 51, Rest Area open, NO TRUCK PARKING.
I-180, over Illinois River and at Illinois 26 Interchange, one lane closed in each direction for bridge painting.
US 6, just east of I-180, one lane closed for bridge painting, traffic controlled by signals.
DeKalb County
US 30, just east of Shabonna, one lane closed for bridge repairs, traffic controlled by signals.
Ford County
Illinois 9, west of Gibson City, one lane closed for bridge repairs, traffic controlled by signals.
Illinois 54, southwest of Onarga, one lane closed for culvert repairs. Traffic controlled by signals.
Illinois 115, between Piper City and Illinois 116, closed for bridge deck replacements, detour posted.
Iroquois County
I-57, MP 300, between Clifton and Chebanse, one lane closed in each direction for bridge replacements.
US 45/52, just north of US 24, closed for culvert replacement, detour posted.
Livingston County
Illinois 116, east edge of Pontiac, one lane closed for bridge repairs, traffic controlled by signals.
IDOT Highway District 4:
FULTON
IL 41 is reduced to one lane traffic that is controlled by temporary signals approximately 1 mile south of Avon.
IL 116 is reduced to one lane traffic the is controlled by temporary signals approximately 2 miles east of the IL 97 & IL 116 junction.
PEORIA
The ramp from WB I-474 to IL 116/Maxwell Road and the ramp from IL116/Maxwell Road to WB 474 will be closed. Detour routes are in effect and are marked.
TAZEWELL
Eastbound and westbound Interstate 474 will be reduced to one lane west of Interstate 74 near Morton.
Near Morton, eastbound and westbound Interstate 74 will have one lane dedicated to through traffic and one lane dedicated to ramp traffic east of the Morton Avenue overpass.
Near Morton, westbound Interstate 74 will be reduced from three lanes to two west of the Interstate 155 interchange and the ramp from northbound I-155 to westbound I-74 will be required to yield to oncoming traffic at the merger.
Near Morton, the eastbound I-74 ramp to southbound I-155 will be reduced to one lane.
IDOT Highway District 5:
CHAMPAIGN COUNTY
Champaign County Highway 50 (Lake of the Woods Road) over I-74. County Highway 50 is closed and a marked detour is being utilized.
Windsor Road over I-57. Traffic signals are being utilized.
McLEAN COUNTY
Interstate 39 southbound from Interstate 55 to north of Township Road 157A. One of the two lanes of travel will be closed for this rubblization project.
IDOT Highway District 6:
HANCOCK COUNTY
IL 9/96 over a drainage ditch, located 2.2 miles east of IL 9 in Niota. Box Culvert construction reduces traffic to one lane controlled by traffic signals.
LOGAN COUNTY
Interstate 55 over the ICRR and Kickapoo Creek Overflow located north of IL 10 near Lincoln (MM 129 to 131); bridge reconstruction reduces northbound and southbound lanes to one lane.
MACOUPIN COUNTY
IL 16 over COOP Branch, located 1 mile east of Shipman. Bridge reconstruction reduces traffic to one lane controlled by traffic signals.
IDOT Highway District 7:
Coles County
Illinois Route 16 east of Charleston; bridge replacement; stage construction with one lane open, concrete barriers and traffic signals in place.
CLAY COUNTY
US Route 50 east of Flora; bridge rehabilitation; stage construction with one lane open in each direction with concrete barriers in place.
Cumberland County
Interstate 70 between Greenup and Casey; major road reconstruction; stage construction with one lane open in each direction.
Interstate 70 just west of Greenup; bridge removal and rehabilitation; stage construction with one lane open in each direction utilizing median crossovers and concrete barrier in place.
Effingham County
Green Creek southbound Rest Area will be closed.
Interstate 57/70 around Effingham; major road reconstruction; stage construction with two lanes open in each direction, concrete barriers in place and some ramp detours.
LAWRENCE COUNTY
Illinois Route 1 north of Lawrenceville; culvert extensions; one lane traffic with traffic signals in place.
Macon County
Pride of Prairie east bound Rest Area will be closed.
Illinois Route 48 northeast of Decatur; box culvert replacement; stage construction with one lane open, concrete barriers and traffic signals in place.
Illinois Route 121 in Mt. Zion; bridge rehabilitation; stage construction with one lane open, concrete barriers and traffic signals in place.
SHELBY COUNTY
Illinois Route 16 east of Shelbyville; bridge rehabilitation; stage construction with one lane open in each direction utilizing median crossovers.
IDOT Highway District 8:
MADISON COUNTY
IL 143 structures over the Silver Creek and the East Tributary to Silver Creek, just east of I-55 and just west of Marine, will be restricted to one lane, in each direction, to allow the removal and installation new approach beams and to apply the waterproof membrane on the concrete deck.
IL 143 structure over SIUE North Access Road, west of IL 159 in Edwardsville, will be restricted to one lane, in each direction, to allow the installation of the waterproof membrane on the concrete deck.
Lane reductions will be in both the north and southbound lanes of I-255 between Collinsville Road and Horseshoe Lake Road. Two of the three lanes will be closed at all times to complete necessary pavement repairs, resurfacing, and bridge work.
RANDOLPH COUNTY
150/IL 4, Steeleville, bridge over Cox Creek is reduced to one lane of traffic through Fall 2013. This lane restriction is needed to perform bridge repairs.
ST. CLAIR COUNTY
The right lane of southbound IL 203 will be closed to allow construction associated with the New Mississippi River Bridge.
The ramp from westbound I-55/70 to northbound IL 3/eastbound I-64 will be closed to all traffic in E. St. Louis. A detour will be in place while the ramp is being reconstructed.
The ramp from westbound I-64 to eastbound I-70/northbound I-55 will be closed to all traffic in E. St. Louis. A detour will be in place while the ramp is being reconstructed.
The ramp from westbound I-55/70 to Exchange Avenue will be closed to all traffic in E. St. Louis. A detour will be in place while the ramp is being reconstructed.
Both northbound and southbound I-255 over I-64 will be reduced to 2 lanes in each direction for bridge rehabilitation.
IL 15/IL158, Belleville, both the eastbound and westbound on-ramps from IL 158 on to IL 15 will be closed through September 30, 2013. Closure needed for roundabout construction.
IL 15/IL158, Belleville, the westbound IL 15 exit ramp on to IL 158 will be restricted to northbound traffic through September 30, 2013. Restriction needed for roundabout construction.
IL 13 under IL 15, Belleville, closed to all traffic through winter 2014. Closure needed to construct new structures.
IL 15 bridges over IL 13, Belleville, one lane closed in each direction of bridges through winter 2014. This lane restriction is needed to construct the new Eastbound IL 15 structure.
IL 15, Fayetteville, bridge over Kaskaskia River is reduced to one lane of traffic through the summer of 2014. This restriction is needed to perform bridge repairs.

Jackson
IL 13, east edge of Murphysboro, Lane closures/shift with median crossover for bridge replacement
Jefferson
I-64 EBL and I-57 SBL. Traffic reduced to one lane prior to the I-57/I-64 merge north of Mt. Vernon.
I-64 WBL. Traffic reduced to one lane prior to merge with NB I-57 south of Mt. Vernon.
I-57 SBL. Traffic reduced to one lane at entrance ramp from IL 15 at Mt. Vernon.
IL 37. Bonnie. One lane bridge construction, temporary signals in place.
Hardin
IL 146, 2 miles east of Elizabethtown. One lane traffic, controlled by signals for staged bridge repairs.
Pope
IL 145 at intersection with IL 146. Traffic reduced to one lane controlled by temporary signals.
IL 14. 7.0 miles northeast of Golconda. One lane traffic controlled by signals over Big Grand Pierre Creek for staged bridge repairs.
White
IL 1. 2 miles north of Carmi. One lane bridge construction, temporary signals in place.
