CHESTNUT — Ida Jean Howe, 86, of
Chestnut, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at 6:43 p.m. at Leroy Manor
in Le Roy.

Chestnut: Ida Jean Howe, 86, of Chestnut, IL passed
away at 6:43 P.M. on November 30, 2013 at Leroy
Manor in Leroy, IL.
Ida was born on October 29, 1927 in Bluffton,
Indiana to Lewis and Fern May Phipps. She married
Howard R. Mann. She later married Rodney Nimrick. He
preceded her in death. She then married Bill Howe of
Chestnut. He also preceded her in death. She was the
owner of the Alpha restaurant in Alpha, IL, and was
a key punch operator for State Farm Insurance.

Ida is survived by two daughters, Kathy (Terry)
Sachan of Savoy, IL and Tami Mann of Bloomington, IL, one
sister Linda (Kenneth) Bowman of Downs, IL, six
grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded
in death by her husbands, one daughter Sandy Mann, two sons,
Martin Mann and Chip Nimrick, one sister and one brother.
Services for Ida will be at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday
December 4, 2013 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home
in Mt. Pulaski with Mark Weber officiating. Visitation
will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. A
graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday afternoon
in Chenoa Township Cemetery, Chenoa, IL. Memorials may be
made to the Alzheimer's Association.
