The Crusaders improved to 8-2 in the seventh-grade game by a
score of 54-26. The Crusaders were led by Brayton Brown, 12
points, Denver Hoffert, 11; Jayden Graham and Drew Singleton
with nine each; and Dylan Singleton had eight points. The
Panthers were led by Nate Arnold with 13 points. Others scoring
for CEL were Will Ewald, five points; Jace McIntosh, four
points; and Xavier Miller and Tanner Strampp, two points each.
The Panthers improved to 9-0 with a 51-20 win in the
eighth-grade game. CEL was led by Sam Birnbaum with 20 points
and Isaiah Bowers with 16. Josh Vinson added six points, Will
Ewald five points, and Xavier Miller and Jordan Jacobs finished
with two points each. Scoring for CCS-NHM-ZLS were Alec Bailey,
six points; Cole Klokkenga, four points; Brayton Brown and
Michael Newhouse, three points each; and Lance Podbelsek and
Dylan Singleton, two points each.
The Panthers were scheduled to host Greenview on Tuesday
night.
