When it makes the move, MHCCI will offer expanded hours: 8 a.m. to
4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with walk-in appointments accepted
until 3:30 p.m. "We believe this move will offer our clients the
best of both worlds," said Jan Gambach, MHCCI president. "We’ll be
able to provide the same personalized care but in a more comfortable
and confidential setting."
The Lincoln office primarily serves individuals who live in Logan
and Mason counties. The office phone number will remain unchanged at
217-735-2272 for scheduling appointments, contacting therapists or
case managers, and calling for assistance for directions to the new
location.
By providing therapy and support in a primary-care setting,
patients will have access to integrated care to address issues such
as depression, anxiety or attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder.

"Patients often first report illness, whether physical or
emotional, to their primary-care provider," Gambach said. "By having
a therapist on-site, the primary-care provider can offer immediate
services by a trained professional who can recommend interventions
that can have a greater likelihood of success."
MHCCI staff members will join therapists with Memorial Counseling
Associates, also a service of MHCCI, who already have offices at
Memorial Physician Services-Lincoln.
An affiliate of Memorial Health System, MHCCI provides a range of
mental health services to nearly 9,000 children, adolescents and
adults each year in six counties: Logan, Mason, Menard, Morgan,
Scott and Sangamon.
