Illinois country grain prices were
mostly higher on Wednesday afternoon.
Good demand for corn and soybeans
supported futures buying while the wheat market moved lower
following the record high wheat production estimate from Canada.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were 2 to 5 cents higher at 4.06-4.23.
Soybean bids were 9 to 15 cents
stronger at 13.02-13.29.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 5 to 8 cents higher at 4.09-4.24.
Soybean bids were 8 to 15 cents
higher at 13.16-13.34.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were up 6
to 9 cents at 4.14-4.32.
Soybean bids were 9 to 14 cents
higher at 13.24-13.44.
Wheat bids were down mostly 3 to 8
cents at 6.37-6.70.
