Illinois grain prices in country elevators

[December 07, 2013]  SPRINGFIELD — This is Friday's report of the grain prices and trends, prepared by the USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

Illinois country grain prices were mixed on Friday afternoon.

The market lacked energy to move out of the existing values with the USDA report coming out on Tuesday.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were stronger at 4.13-4.27.

Soybean bids were down 3 to 8 cents at 13.01-13.16.

In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were 4 to 7 cents lower at 4.09-4.21.

Soybean bids were down 5 to 8 cents at 13.01-13.16.

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were steady to 1 cent higher at 4.19-4.35.

Soybean bids were 2 to 3 cents lower at 13.20-13.49.

Wheat bids were down 1 to 2 cents at 6.23-6.59.
