Newberry, 93, of Emden, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, at 7:20 a.m. at
Christian Village Nursing Home in Lincoln.

Mildred V. (Sieh) Briggs Newberry, 93, of Emden
passed away at 7:20 a.m., November 29, 2013 at the
Christian Village Nursing Home, Lincoln, IL.
A graveside service will be held at the Hartsburg
Union Cemetery on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at
10:00 a.m. Holland Barry and Bennett Funeral Home
is in charge of the arrangements.

She is survived by two sons, Bill (Norma) Briggs of
Emden and Gary (Beverly) Briggs of Estes Park,
Colorado, five grandchildren, seven great
grandchildren, and ten great great grandchildren.
Memorial gifts may be made to Christian Village
Nursing Home of Lincoln (for the church services),
St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Emden, or Safe Haven
Hospice of Lincoln.
