Park district notes

[December 05, 2013]  The Lincoln Park District will offer Treats with Santa again this year. Bring children wanting to talk to Santa to the park district on Saturday, Dec. 14. This event will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude after the last child at 11 a.m. There will also be Christmas games and a coloring contest along with milk and cookies. While we can't reveal everything that happens on this magical morning, we can say that our Santa is the one who is definitely in the know! Parents or others knowing what the child got last year for Christmas should accompany the child. This is being done in partnership with WLCN-FM, Fix 96.3 radio station in Atlanta and will also be found on their website at www.lincolncountry.com They will submit it to Comcast Channel 5.

Registration is going on now for winter co-ed volleyball and will end on Dec. 17. Games will be played on Tuesday evenings, beginning at 6:30. The season is scheduled to begin Jan. 7 and will culminate with a double-elimination tournament. Roster and waivers are available at the front desk. Call Roy at 732-8770 if you have any questions.
