Illinois country grain prices were
higher on Monday afternoon.
Corn was strengthened with higher
export inspection figures.
Soybeans had substantial gains on
traders expecting the USDA to lower ending stocks.
Without any encouraging news wheat
remained at existing values.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were 1 to 3 cents higher at 4.16-4.26.
Soybean bids were 16 cents higher
at 13.17-13.32.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 4 to 7 cents higher at 4.14-4.25.
Soybean bids were 18 to 25 cents
higher at 13.30-13.44.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 4 to 6
cents stronger at 4.24-4.39.
Soybean bids were 16 to 23 cents
higher at 13.38-13.66.
Wheat bids were steady to 4 cents
higher at 6.30-6.59.
