The last feature of this
year's Harvest of Talents for World Hunger Homes on Tour was a quilt
show representing 30 years of quilts from the Harvest of Talents.
The quilts were spread across
the pews in the sanctuary, and visitors enjoyed viewing each one as
they also enjoyed looking at the many stained-glass windows.
From the tour brochure:
Today the sanctuary
also features a display of many of the quilts that have been
purchased at each of the previous 30 Harvest of Talents for World
Hunger. The purchasers of these lovely handmade treasured have
loaned them back to the Harvest Ministry to be displayed today
celebrating the 30 Harvest of Talents for world hunger and honoring
the many quilters who have shared their quilting skills. It is with
great thankfulness that the Harvest Ministry displays these quilts
today for your viewing pleasure. Please know that they have provided
food for many hungry people throughout the world, and we are humbled
by tile generosity of both the quilters and the purchasers.
