Salvator "Sam" Segretto, 88, of Lincoln, died Monday, Dec. 16, 2013,
at 3:15 a.m. at his home.

Lincoln- Salvator "Sam" Segretto, 88 of Lincoln
passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 3:15
a.m. at his home.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, December
20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Cemetery in Lincoln.
Peasley Funeral Home is assisting the family
with arrangements.
Salvator "Sam" Segretto was born on October 5, 1925
in Springfield, Il., the son of Martin and Genevieve
La Rocca Segretto. He married V. June Winkle Brown
on December 18, 1964. She preceded him in death on
February 4, 2008.
He is survived by two sons: Martin Segretto of North
Carolina and Anthony Segretto of Virginia. Three
stepchildren: James "Ernie" Brown of Lincoln, Donna
M. Covert of California, Crystal Fulk of South
Dakota. Two brothers: Joseph (Genevieve) Segretto,
Carl (Margie) Segretto both of Springfield. He is
also survived by many grandchildren, great
grandchildren, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and
Cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and
two sisters.
Sam served for six years in the United States Navy.
He was a Life time Member of Painters Local #90.
He was an avid bowler for the last 5 years at Logan
Lanes. He bowled on the Sunday League on the Beck's
Team.

Society.
