Mary F. Vieth, 87, of Lincoln, died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013, at
9:30 p.m. at Symphony of Lincoln.

Lincoln- Mary F. Vieth, 87, of Lincoln passed away on
Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at 9:30 p.m. at the Symphony of
Lincoln.
Graveside Services for Mrs. Vieth will be held on
Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Harmony
Cemetery at rural Beason with Rev. Darrell Howard
officiating.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Quiram Peasley Funeral Home is assisting the
family arrangements.
Mary Frances Vieth was born on August 3, 1926 the
daughter of Mr and Mrs. William "Bill" Jackson in
Jacksonville, Ill.. She was later raised by Mrs. Alice Pryor
and Miss. Niel in Atlanta.
She was united in marriage to Robert Lee Vieth on June
26, 1948. He preceded her in death October 3, 1987.
She is survived by her children: Donna (Mark) Vieth of La
Mesa, New Mexico and Robert James Vieth of Lincoln. One
niece Judith (Roger) Westen of Beason.
Also surviving are three grandchildren: Stacie (Jeff)
Thommes, Robert John Vieth, Angelique Wolpert. Four Great
grandchildren: Alissa Thommes, Rylan Thommes, Austin Vieth
and Emma Vieth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one grandson: Jon
Liesman, one brother: Gene Jackson and one sister: Louise
Humphrey.
Mary graduated from the Atlanta
High School and St. Joseph School of Nursing in Bloomington.
She retired from Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in
Lincoln as a Registered Nurse.
She was a member of the Beason
United Methodist Church and the Beason Card Club.
Mary will always be remembered
for her laughter, loving kindness and caring for others. She
has gone home to be with Jesus and her loving family that
has preceded her. She will be in our hearts forever.
