Saturday the Logan County Animal Rescue hosted a chicken and noodle dinner fundraiser at Friendship Manor.

The event began at 11 a.m., and by 11:05 guests were arriving to enjoy a great meal while helping a worthy cause.

On the menu were chicken and noodles, served with green beans, mashed potatoes, dinner roll and tossed salad.

In addition to a fabulous meal, there was a large array of baked goods available for sale.

A special Valentine's Day gift basket was being raffled off and free-will donations were also being accepted.

Not surprisingly, the staff of Friendship Manor have the dining hall decorated to the nines. With crystal snowflakes and Valentine hearts hanging from the ceiling, there was a party-like atmosphere in the room.

The dining hall at Friendship Manor is a great place for a fundraiser. With a serving line area separate from dining, it seldom gets congested.
