Myra 'Pete' Snyder

[February 18, 2013]  LINCOLN -- Myra Ann "Pete" Snyder, 80, of Lincoln, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at 9:55 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

LINCOLN-Myra Ann "Pete" Snyder, 80, of Lincoln, IL passed away at 9:55 a.m. February 18, 2013 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln.

Myra was born November 10, 1932 in Lincoln, IL the daughter of Darley and Jennie "Dollie" Montgomery Petro. She married Kenneth L. "Dutch" Snyder on August 18, 1951 in Gulf Port, Mississippi. He survives in Lincoln.

Also surviving are two daughters: Jennie (Gregg) Smith of Leroy, IL and Vicki (Jerry) Schriber of Fort Wayne, IN; one son, Duke (Kathy) Snyder of Lafayette, IN.; three grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons: Mark and Eric Snyder.

Funeral Director

Myra was a housewife and member of Lincoln Christian Church.

Services for Myra will be Friday, February 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln with Ron Otto officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Lincoln. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00-7:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to American Cancer Society.
