Illinois country grain prices were
mixed on Thursday afternoon, with soybeans higher and corn and
wheat lower.
Soybean values were supported by
export sales and stronger soybean meal values. Beneficial
moisture from the major snow storm in the plains states weighed
on wheat prices.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were 8 to 9 cents lower at 6.84-7.07.
Soybean bids were 6 to 8 cents
higher at 14.70-14.88.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 10 cents lower at 6.91-7.09.
Soybean bids were up 5 to 8 cents
at 14.92-15.01.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 9 to
10 cents lower at 6.87-7.16.
