Illinois country grain prices
compared to last Friday December 28, were lower on Wednesday
afternoon, with soybeans and wheat values sharply lower.
Fund selling at the Board of Trade
helped to push grain futures lower.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 4 to 8 cents lower at 6.72-6.94.
Soybean bids were 20 to 21 cents
lower at 13.72-13.91.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were mostly 1 to 3 cents lower at 6.83-7.02.
Soybean bids were 19 to 23 cents
lower at 13.92-14.07.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were mostly
6 to 14 cents lower at 6.60-7.08.
Soybean bids were 21 to 24 cents
lower at
14.10-14.23.
Wheat bids were 21 to 24 cents
lower at 7.36-7.60.
