Illinois country grain prices were
mixed on Thursday afternoon, with corn slightly higher and
soybeans and wheat futures slightly lower.
Soybean futures ended lower
despite announced sales of soybeans to China with some for the
2012-2013 marketing year and some for 2013-2014 marketing year.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were 4 to 6 cents higher at 6.81-6.92.
Soybean bids were 4 to 6 cents
lower at 13.66-13.88.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were mostly 2 to 4 cents higher at 6.88-7.10.
Soybean bids were 5 to 7 lower at
13.86-14.00.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 5 to 6
cents stronger at 6.80-7.20.
Soybean bids were mixed at
13.91-14.20. Wheat bids were mixed at 7.33-7.50.
