JANUARY 8

INFANT SLEEPERS 

Fisher-Price is recalling Newborn Rock 'n Play Sleeper™ sold nationwide since September 2009. Mold can develop between the removable seat cushion and the hard plastic frame of the sleeper when it remains wet/moist or is infrequently cleaned, posing a risk of exposure to mold. 

This recall to inspect includes all Fisher-Price Rock N' Play infant recliner seats called sleepers.

TRANSFORMERS 

HEICO lighting is recalling PLATINUM Neon Sign Power Supply Transformers sold nationwide from December 2011 to May 2012. The transformers do not meet the UL standard for this product and pose a fire risk. 

This recall involves neon power supply transformers designed to power commercial signs. "HEICO LIGHTING™" and the model information are printed on a plate on the transformer. The recalled models include PLATINUM-9000-30, PLATINUM-10000-30, PLATINUM-12000-30, TFT-04PL-6000-30, and TFT-06PL-9000-30.

JANUARY 9

OMNI HEAT BATTERIES 

Columbia Sportswear is recalling Omni-Heat™ Lithium-Polymer Rechargeable Batteries sold from September 2012 to November 2012. The batteries have a cell defect which can cause overheating, posing a fire hazard. 

The black battery packs are 3.25 inches long by 2.3 inches wide by 0.7 inches deep and marked with "Columbia" on the top and "OMNI-HEAT™" on the bottom of the pack. Part number 054978-001 is printed on the side of the battery label. Complete list can be found at www.recalls.org

OFF-HIGHWAY VEHICLES 

Polaris is recalling 2013 Polaris Ranger® 400 recreational off-highway vehicles sold nationwide from July 2012 to September 2012. The recreational vehicle's throttle can fail to operate properly, which can cause the vehicle's rider to lose control, posing a crash hazard. 

This recall involves 2013 Polaris Ranger® 400 recreational off-highway vehicles with model number R13RH45AG and VIN numbers between 4XARH45A3D4726305 and 4XARH45A7DE648444. "Polaris" is stamped on the front of the vehicle above the front grill. A "400 HO" decal is located on the right and left side of the hood and "Ranger 4x4" is printed on the side of the rear bed box.

JANUARY 10

JOHN DEERE VEHICLES 

Deere & Company is recalling John Deere Recalls Gator Utility Vehicles sold nationwide from August 2012 to October 2012. The fuel line can separate, posing a fire hazard. 

This recall involves John Deere Gator™ RSX850i Base, Sport and Trail model recreational utility vehicles manufactured between May 2012 and October 2012. They have side-by-side seating for two people and were available in Realtree® Hardwoods™ HD Camo, olive and black, or traditional green and yellow. Serial  numbers can be found at www.recalls.org

Consumers should contact a John Deere dealer to schedule a free inspection and free repair.

SCUBA HOSES 

A-Plus Marine is recalling High-pressure scuba diving air hoses sold nationwide from April 2012 to June 2012. The diving hose that connects the regulator to the tank's pressure gauge can separate reducing the available air supply to the diver, posing a drowning hazard. 

The phrase "Scuba Diving High Pressure hose I.D. 3/16" (4.76 mm) W.P. 5000 PSI Exceeds SAE 100RT braid with Kevlar fiber from Dupont" is printed in white lettering on the hose's outer covering. The hoses have metal fittings on each end. "CE EN 250 230" is stamped on the female side of the fitting and "12Q1" on the male side.
