ATLANTA -- Wilbur Frantz, 93, of
Atlanta, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at 5:18 p.m. at his home.

Atlanta- Wilbur G. Frantz, 93, of Atlanta passed
away on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 5:18 p.m. his
home.
Funeral Services for Mr. Frantz will be held on
Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the
Eminence Christian Church with Dr. LC Sutton
officiating.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until time
of the service at the church.
Burial will be in Mountjoy Cemetery at rural
Atlanta.
Quiram Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta is in of
arrangements.
Wilbur Graham Frantz was born on June 28, 1919 in
Eminence Township rural Atlanta the son of Elbert
Dean and Anna Graham Frantz. He married Jessie
Bishop on November 28, 1939 in Palmyra, Missouri.
She survives.
Also surviving are his sons: Larry Frantz of
Gilbert, Arizona, Billy Dean (Vickie) Frantz of
Chenoa, ten grandchildren: Jessica Frantz, Emily
Frantz, Austin Frantz, Michelle Frank, Heather
Frantz, Michael (Heather) Frantz, Jennifer (Rob)
Bonack, Brandon (Sara) Punke, Travis (Samantha)
Punke, Dylan Punke. seven great grandchildren. One
sister: Wilma Storm of St. Peters, Mo.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: Dean
Frantz, Jim Frantz, two sisters: Mildred Burt and
Helen Kindred.
Wilbur farmed in Eminence Township for many years.
He later retired from Caterpillar Inc.
Memorials may be made to Eminence Christian Church
or Atlanta Rescue Squad.
