SPRINGFIELD -- Four wrestlers from
Lincoln Youth Wrestling competed in the Illinois Kids Wrestling
Federation Jon Davis Open at the Prairie Capital Convention Center in
Springfield on Sunday. There were over 1,400 wrestlers at the
tournament.

 Lincoln placers were Chase Reed, third in the 7- and 8-year-old
division; Austin O'Donoghue, champion, and Alex Bogdanic, runner-up,
in the 9- and 10-year-old division; and Trevor Bree, sixth in the
11- and 12-year-old division.The team will travel to El Paso next
Sunday to compete in the Titan Rumble.
