[January 24, 2013]  LINCOLN -- Floyd O. Knauer, 80, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Lincoln, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, at Complex Care at Ridge Lake in Sarasota.

Floyd O. Knauer, 80, of Sarasota Florida, formerly of Lincoln, passed away January 20, 2013 at Complex Care at Ridge Lake in Sarasota, Florida.

Graveside services will be 10:00 am Monday, January 28, 2013 at Zion Cemetery in Lincoln.

Floyd was born August 30, 1932 in St. Peter, IL., the son of William and Elnora (Storck) Knauer. He proudly served his country in the United States Army as a medic in the Korean war.

Surviving are his son Greg Knauer, daughter Sheryl Wagoner, 3 grandsons: Ben Wagoner, Zach and Austin Leonard, and brothers Wallace Knauer, Daris Knauer, Darrell Knauer, and Dennis Knauer.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
