LINCOLN -- William D. Bacon, 82, of
Lincoln, died Friday, June 28, 2013, at 1:04 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital.

Lincoln- William D. Bacon, 82, of Lincoln passed
away on Friday, June 28, 2013 at 1:04 a.m. at the
Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
Private Services are scheduled. Cremation Rites have
been accorded.
William Dean Bacon was born on August 3, 1930 in
Lincoln the son of Raymond and Mary Alexander Bacon.
He married Beverly Lynn Masterson in Lincoln in
1954. She preceded him in death in September, 1983.
He is survived by his children: Tara Brown of Beason
and Bret (Kim) Bacon of Lincoln. his grandchildren:
Jared (LeeAnn) Brown, Blake Brown, Shelby Brown and
Dalton Brown, Mallory Bacon, Drew Bacon. Also
surviving is his longtime friend and caregiver: Pat
Hinkle of Lincoln, two sisters: Joann Bacon , Karen
Scales, one brother: Robert Bacon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one
brother: Larry Bacon, one grandchild: Alexa Brown.

Mr. Bacon served in the United States Navy for four
years.
He retired from the State of Illinois as a
Bricklayer.
Peasley Funeral Home is assisting the family
with funeral arrangements.
