James Louis Parrott Sr., 75, of Lincoln, died Sunday, June 30, 2013,
at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

James Louis Parrott Sr., 75, of Lincoln, IL. passed
away Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a private
family memorial service will be held at a later
date.
James was born June 19, 1938 in Lebanon, KY, the son
of Virgil and Lucille (Culver) Parrott.
Surviving are his wife Delores Parrott of Lincoln,
his children: Tammie (Chuck) Mathis of St. Jacob,
IL., Brenda Lamey of Lincoln, IL., James Jr.
(Melissa) Parrott of Lincoln, IL., Michelle (Pam)
Dugan of Springfield, IL., Michael D. (Tu) Parrott
of Bangkok, Thailand; his grandchildren: Kevin
(Nikki) Sweet of Hobbs, NM., Jared Parrott of Miami,
FL., Tanner Parrott of Fort Bragg, NC., James
(Erica) Lewis of Springfield, IL., Desiree Winkel of
Springfield, IL., Curran Parrott of Camp Pendleton,
CA., Geoff Mathis of St. Jacob, IL., and Prau
Sonapoon of Bangkok, Thailand.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four
brothers, three sisters, and one daughter Judy.
Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in
Lincoln is handling arrangements.
