He lost his shutout in the ninth when he gave up a one-out double to Wilin Rosario and a two-out RBI single to pinch-hitter Nolan Arenado.
Jhoulys Chacin (8-4) allowed one run on five hits over six innings, striking out four and walking two. The loss snapped Chacin's five-game winning streak. He had not lost since May 16.
Amarista tripled to straight away center in the third to score Everth Cabrera from first. He added a bases-loaded single off Wilton Lopez in the seventh, scoring Will Venable, who had doubled leading off. Nick Hundley and Cabrera singled to load the bases.

Fowler has been on the disabled list since July 2 (retroactive to June 26) with a bone bruise in his right hand.
