 Stage: Stage 10 followed the Tour's first rest day on Monday. The pack took it easy on the 197-kilometer (122-mile) jaunt from the Brittany town of Saint-Gildas-Des-Bois to Saint-Malo on its northern coast. The route passed Plesse, where 1907 and 1908 winner Lucien Mazan, better known as Lucien Petit-Breton, was born in 1882.
Winner: Argos-Shimano sprinter Marcel Kittel won the final mad dash for the line.
Yellow jersey: Chris Froome. The 28-year-old Briton rode safely in the pack, as did his main rivals. He remains 1 minute, 25 seconds ahead of Spain's Alejandro Valverde in second; two-time Tour champion Alberto Contador is sixth, 1:51 back.
Stat of the day: 2 -- stages won by Kittel at this Tour. He also won Stage 1.

Wednesday's stage: A 33-kilometer (20.5-mile) time trial from Normandy port of Avranches, with its memorial to U.S. Gen. George S. Patton, to the breathtaking Mont-Saint-Michel, a Gothic-style Benedictine abbey and walled village on an islet off the Brittany coast.
