Gerald Dean Dambacher, 72, of Lincoln, died Wednesday, July 10,
2013, at 10:55 p.m. at his residence.

Lincoln: Gerald Dean Dambacher, 72, of Lincoln,
passed away at 10:55 P.M. Wednesday July 10, 2013 at
his residence.
Gerald was born May 1, 1941 in Dawson, IL to Eldon
and Lydia Dennison Dambacher. He worked construction
as well as for the Mt. Pulaski Elevator, Lake Fork
Elevator and the Tabor Elevator in Waynesville. He
was an avid Cubs fan. He married Dorothy Ann Gill on
March 3, 1961 in Lincoln.

Surviving is his wife of 52 years Dorothy of
Lincoln, four children, Carolyn Sue (Jack) Sinkhorn
of Emden, Roberta Sue (Rodney) Colclasure of
Lincoln, Peggy A. (James) Huffman of Lincoln and
Jerry Dean (Heather) Dambacher of Auburn. He is also
survived by two brothers, Eldon (Erma Jean)
Dambacher of Dawson, IL and Darrel (Shirley)
Dambacher of Lake Fork, two sisters Thelma Seitz of
Andrew, IL and Lydia Ann Dambacher of Springfield,
IL; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son
Gerald, 1 sister, and 2 grandchildren.
Services for Gerald will be 10:30 A.M. Monday July
15, 2013 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt.
Pulaski. Visitation will be from 1-4 P.M. on Sunday July
14, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Carlyle
Cemetery, Lake Fork. Memorials may be given to the family.
