ATLANTA -- Lucille B. Pech, 95, died
Saturday, July 13, 2013, at 4 a.m. at her daughter's home.

Atlanta- Lucille B. Pech, 95 of Atlanta passed away
on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 4:00 a.m. at her
daughter's home.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, July 16,
2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Quiram
Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta.
Private graveside services will be held at a later
date at the Funks Grove Cemetery in rural McLean.
Cremation Rites will be accorded following the
visitation.
Lucille B. Pech was born on February 12, 1918 in
McLean the daughter of George Thomas and Lucy Snow
Baker.
She married Joseph A. Pech on January 24, 1936 in
Atlanta. He preceded her in death on February 1,
1995.
Lucille is survived by her daughters: Georgia
(Harold) Green of Atlanta, Karen Hoagland of
Broadwell. three grandchildren: Wes (Martha) Green,
Shawn (Tammy) Green, Becky (Scott) Hembrough. Seven
great grandchildren: Adam Green, Amanda (Jason)
Melton, Ashley (Patrick) Kilmartin, Kayla Green,
Connor Green, Dylan Hembrough, Dalton Hembrough.
Four great great grandchildren: Lucas Melton, Beau
Melton, Isaac Green, soon to be born Dawson
Kilmartin.

She was preceded in death by: one son James Pech,
one brother: James Baker.
Lucille worked at the Atlanta Museum as the curator.
She was a founding member of the Logan County
Tourism Bureau, member of Friends of Historic
Atlanta, Atlanta A-Team, Hawes Grain Elevator
Society, Illinois General for Volunteerism, Atlanta
Women's Club. Rte. 66 Association. She volunteered
at the New Salem State Park for ten years.
Memorials may be made to the Lucille Pech Memorial
Fund.
