Illinois country grain prices were
mixed on Monday afternoon, with soybean meal values and a higher
than expected soybean crush figure from the National Oilseed
Processors Association supported higher soybean prices.
A weather forecast supporting good
growing conditions for corn weighed on corn futures.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were 15 to 16 cents lower at 6.52-6.74.
Soybean bids were mixed at
15.08-15.35.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 12 cents lower at 6.63-6.83.
Soybean bids were 22 to 25 cents
higher
at 15.56-15.75.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 9 to
19 cents lower at 6.55-6.83.
Soybean bids were mixed at
15.39-16.09. Wheat bids were down 9 to 10 cents at 6.45-6.60.
