Illinois country grain prices were
mixed on Monday afternoon, with soybeans sharply higher and corn
and wheat slightly lower.
Limit up gains in soybean meal
helped to lift soybean futures.
Very good demand for cash soybeans
also supported higher prices.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were 2 to 3 cents lower at 6.74-6.86.
Soybean bids were 19 to 30 cents
higher at 15.78-16.02.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were mostly 1 cent higher at 6.75-6.91.
Soybean bids were 19 to 24 cents
higher at 15.92-16.15.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 2 to 3
cents lower at 6.81-6.96.
Soybean bids were 19 to 30 cents
higher at 16.11-16.40.
