In the early part of Schlitt's
concert he talked about a song he wrote, "God Is Too Big." He
said it went into a recording but was soon pulled because listeners
thought he was singing "God Is Stupid."
It was a song he loved and
wanted the public to hear, so now at every concert he explains the
song, and what happened to it, then sings it for the audience,
getting them involved with singing the chorus.
Also during the evening,
Schlitt shared his personal testimony regarding some bad years in
his life when he dealt with addiction to drugs and alcohol, and how
God brought him through it and gave him a second chance to do
something good.
