Illinois country grain prices were
lower on Tuesday afternoon, with soybean meal values and
technical trading at the Board of Trade pushed soybean futures
lower.
Lower cash basis levels for
soybeans at both processors and river terminals also weakened
prices.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were 19 cents lower at 6.55-6.67.
Soybean bids were sharply lower at
14.62-15.30.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 16 to 19 cents lower at 6.54-6.75.
Soybean bids were sharply lower at
15.02-15.38.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 18 to
28 cents lower at 6.53-6.78.
Soybean bids were sharply lower at
15.08-15.43. Wheat bids were 6 to 8 cents lower at 6.34-6.52.
