Illinois country grain prices were
lower on Thursday afternoon, with soybeans sharply lower.
Soybean futures were pulled lower
by weak soybean meal values and speculator selling.
In the cash market, cash basis
continues to be weak for soybeans, but corn values also went
lower today.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were sharply lower at 5.56-6.36.
Soybean bids were sharply lower at
13.30-13.68.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 20 to 50 cents lower at 5.88-6.36.
Soybean bids were sharply lower at
13.57-13.83.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were
sharply lower at 5.95-6.36.
Soybean bids were sharply lower at
13.39-13.85. Wheat bids
were 4 cents lower at 6.29-6.48.
