BEASON -- Wendell E. Reinhart, 83, of
Beason, died Thursday, July 25, 2013, at 12:40 p.m. at his home.

BEASON-Wendell E. Reinhart, 83, of Beason, IL went
to be with the Lord at 12:40 p.m. July 25, 2013 at
his home surrounded by his family.
Wendell was born February 25, 1930 in Lincoln, IL
the son of Harold Frederick and Helen Leota
Ellington Reinhart. He married Marian Ruth Wilson
November 15, 1953 at the Beason Methodist Church.
She survives in Beason.

Also surviving Wendell are his children: Greg
Reinhart of Beason; Judy Eddy of Beason; Scott
(Susan) Reinhart of Atlanta and Janet (Jim) Davis of
Maryville, MO; ten grandchildren and four great
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his
parents and a brother: Dale and son-in-law Frank
Eddy.
Wendell served for the U.S. Army from 1951-1953
during the Korean War. He was a member of Atlanta
Christian Church; a lifelong member of American
Legion Post 1189 of Waynesville having served as
Commander for two years; Logan County Farm Bureau;
and Clinton Masonic Order.
Services for Wendell will be at 10:00 a.m.
Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln,
with Maurice Stribling officiating. Burial will be
in Harmony Cemetery with full military rites
accorded by Waynesville American Legion Post 1189.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at
the funeral home. Memorials may be given in his
memory to Beason Rescue Squad; American Legion Post
1189; or Atlanta Christian Church.
