MOUNT PULASKI -- Bernita "Bea" Kelly,
84, of Edwardsville, formerly of Mount Pulaski, died Saturday, June
1, 2013, at 9:32 a.m. at her residence in Edwardsville.

Mt. Pulaski: Bernita "Bea" Kelly, 84, of
Edwardsville, formerly of Mt. Pulaski passed away at
9:32 A.M. Saturday June 1, 2013 at her residence in
Edwardsville.
Bea was born on June 21, 1928 in Belvidere, IL to
Norman and Carrie Gustafson Nelson. She was a
secretary at Downing and Buckles Insurance Agency in
Mt. Pulaski for 25 years. She was a member of St.
John's Lutheran Church in Mt. Pulaski. She married
Roger M. Kelly on September 8, 1953 in Woodstock,
IL. He preceded her in death on January 31, 2009.
Surviving her are two daughters, Kristine Marie
(Don) Meaux of Franklin, LA, and Sally Ann (Richard)
Talmage of Cocoa Beach, FL, one son Michael Ray
(Colleen Jones) Kelly of Edwardsville, IL a twin
sister Juanita (Larry) Smith of Boonsville, MO, one
brother, Ballard "Bob" (Marie) Stehley of Belvidere,
IL, four grandchildren, Kari (Ben Davis) Baker of
San Francisco, CA, Kelli (Dodd) Davis of Duson, LA,
Jason Talmage of Cocoa Beach, FL, and Kyle Talmage
of Austin, TX, as well as four great-grandchildren
Sophia Darbonne, Ava Buford and Seth and Trinity
Talmage.

There will be a private graveside service at
Steenbergen Cemetery in Mt. Pulaski at a later date
officiated by Rev. David L. Hofer. In lieu of flowers, the
family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's
Association. Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home is
handling arrangements.
