District 27 spelling winners

Classroom winners from fourth, fifth, sixth,
seventh and eighth grade competed recently in the District 27
Spelling Bee at Lincoln Junior High School.

The champion speller was Hope Graber, a fifth-grader at
Washington-Monroe.Runner-up was Evan Zastrow, an eighth-grader at
LJHS.
Ms. Elaine Knight, district librarian, pronounced the words.
Other judges for the bee were Ms. Marsha Dallas, district curriculum
coordinator, and Dr. Mary Ahillen, district superintendent.
