On June 1 and 2 residents of Castle Manor enjoyed a weekend at "Camp Royal."

During the two-day event, family and friends were invited to join the "campers" in crafts, games and of course "summer camp" food.

The event was dubbed "Camp Royal, a summer camp without getting homesick."

On Saturday the group had a crafts class before lunch and participated in the "Camp Royal Olympics." Later in the evening everyone enjoyed a movie together.

On Sunday camp-goers enjoyed a time of worship in the chapel, then ate a hearty lunch. After lunch the group enjoyed a round of bingo before dismissing "camp" with a special farewell and awards ceremony.
