            [June
10, 2013]  The time for juggling hectic
schedules is over, but juggling was popular at the Lincoln Public
Library on Thursday. The summer program got off to a rousing start
when children's librarian Louella Moreland introduced juggler Troy
Roark. A packed house of children and their parents were treated to
Roark's juggling skills and magic tricks. |

            | Roark, from Springfield, has been a juggler since he was 8 and now
does 120 shows each summer at libraries. Roark's father is a
magician and has also played the Lincoln Public Library. "I paid
for my college education with my juggling skills, and have played
corporate shows all over the world," Roark said. "But doing
libraries for children's reading programs is my favorite." This year's summer program at the Lincoln Public Library is
entitled "Have Book, Will Travel," and the Thursday morning shows
continue throughout the summer. Parents may contact Ms. Lou at the
Annex for information on the program.
