Illinois country grain prices were
mostly lower on Thursday afternoon.
In the weekly export sales report,
the USDA reported 149,500 tons of corn were sold for export with
81,500 metric tons for the 2012-2013 marketing year.
Soybean sales totaled 480,600
metric tons.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were 6 to 10 cents lower at 6.71-6.86.
Soybean bids were 22 to 31 cents
lower at 14.95-15.15.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 6 to 10 cents lower at 6.66-6.83.
Soybean bids were 18 to 31 cents
lower at 15.20-15.45.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 6 to 8
cents lower at 6.69-6.92.
Soybean bids were 27 to 32 cents
lower at 15.23-15.58. Wheat bids were 2 to 3 cents higher at
6.63-6.89.
