Connie Jean Buckner, 64, of Lincoln, formerly of Lake Fork, died
Sunday, June 16, 2013, at Symphony of Lincoln, surrounded by her
loving family.

Connie Jean Buckner, 64, of Lincoln (formerly of
Lake Fork) passed away June 16, 2013 at Symphony of
Lincoln surrounded by her loving family.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on
Friday, June 21, 2013 at Old Union Cemetery in
Lincoln, IL. It was Connie’s wish to be cremated.
Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln
is handling services.
Connie was born January 9, 1949 in Lincoln, IL., the
daughter of Robert "Bob" Lee and Marcella (Routson).
She married John Buckner on April 16, 1964 in
Williamsville, IL.

Surviving are: her husband John Buckner of Lincoln,
IL.; her children: Michelle (David) Presswood, John
Buckner, and Lonnie Buckner all of Lincoln, IL.; her
grandchildren: Ashley, Megan, and Christine
Presswood, Brittany Buckner, Nicholas Buckner, and
Jessica Buckner; her great grandchildren: Cadence
Presswood, Keygan Metelko, Kyle Gillum, and Erich
Auten; her sister Vickie Buss of Lincoln; her
brother Gary Constant of Lake Fork, IL; and her
sister Cheryl Lee of Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Connie was an avid antiquer and garage saler. She
formerly owned Connie’s Dusty Attic. She was an
animal lover and dog rescuer. She was a giver,
always putting others first. She was a great cook
and loved to have family dinners and carry on family
tradition. Above all else Connie was a wonderful
wife, mom, and grandma. She will be missed by all
who knew and loved her.

in Memory of Connie.
