                Illinois country grain prices were 
				higher on Wednesday afternoon. 
				 
              
                New crop prices closed higher.
				
				 
              
                Traders expect the USDA's planted 
				cornacreage to be reduced and there is concern over soybean 
				plantings with more rain in the forecast.
 
 				In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted 
				shelled corn bids were 8 to 11 cents higher at 7.12-7.31.  
              
                Soybean bids were 10 to 15 cents 
				higher at 15.22-15.33.
 				In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn 
				bids were 9 to 13 cents higher at 7.11-7.24.  
              
                Soybean bids were 10 to 16 cents 
				higher at 15.47-15.67.
 				In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 7 to 
				10 cents higher at 7.06-7.37.  
              
                Soybean bids were 10 to 14 cents 
				higher at 15.50-15.71. 
				 
              
                Wheat bids were 18 to 22 cents
