[June 19, 2013]  The Logan County Highway Department has begun its annual seal coat operations. This work will be performed on various roads across the county during the summer months. Seal coat, commonly referred to as oil and chip, is used as preventive maintenance on most of the roads in the county.

Approximately 120 miles of roadway will be seal coated this year within Logan County.

Motorists are asked to obey all construction signs and avoid driving through fresh oil.

The public's cooperation and patience is always appreciated as the highway department maintains local roads.
