Friday afternoon the Lincoln
Park District's own little theater group put on a play for family
and friends. The afternoon event was the end result of a weeklong
theater camp
led by Mikel Frost at the Rec Center.
On Friday, before beginning
the play, Frost spoke briefly about what the six-girl team had learned
during the week. He outlined the lessons taught on
improvisation through games. Before presenting the play, the girls sat at the edge of the stage and played one of their
favorite games, "World's Worst."
Frost called out a profession
or action of some type, and the girls took turns taking the stage and
acting it out. Some of the people they had to impersonate were
"world's worst" dancer, doctor and teacher.
