Mildred "Millie" Ruth Anderson, 91, of Lincoln, died Thursday, Feb.
28, 2013, at The Christian Village.

Mildred (Millie) Ruth Anderson, 91, of Lincoln,
passed away February 28, 2013 at The Christian
Village.
Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, March 3,
2013 at First Presbyterian Church in Lincoln with
Ryan Edgecombe officiating. Burial will be at a
later date in Hartsburg Union Cemetery.
Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in
Lincoln is handling arrangements.
Millie was born January 02, 1922 in Harrisburg, IL.,
the daughter of Thomas and Myrtle Pickering
Brantley. She married Arthur (Andy) E. Anderson on
March 28, 1948 in Harrisburg. He preceded her in
death on June 29, 1996.

Millie was a telephone operator for GTE and a driver
for Community Action.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where she was a member of the
Women's Association and served as a Deacon, a member of the Oasis Senior Center,
the Lincoln Women's Club, Logan Doll Club, Women of the Moose, Verizon Pioneer's
Association, Lintiquers, and the Round Robin Bridge Club.
Surviving are: her sons Arthur (Andy) Anderson III
and his wife Melody of Lincoln and Thomas (Tom)
Anderson and his wife Mary of Hartsburg; grandsons
Keith Anderson, Ian Anderson, Robert Anderson and
his wife Jaime, and Ryan Anderson and his wife
Lindsey; and great grand daughters Hannah Skaggs and
Trystan Anderson.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to
the first Presbyterian Church of Lincoln or to the
Oasis Senior Center.
