ATLANTA -- Kathryn Gardner, 90, of
Atlanta, died Friday, March 8, 2013, at 6:55 p.m. at St. Clara's
Manor in Lincoln.

Atlanta- Kathryn Gardner, 90, of Atlanta passed away
on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 6:55 p.m. at St. Clara's
Manor in Lincoln.
Funeral services for Mrs. Gardner will be held on
Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the
Quiram Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta with Mr.
Maurice Stribling officiating.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 11, 2013
from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Atlanta Cemetery in Atlanta.
Kathryn Johnson was born on December 28, 1922 in
Atlanta the daughter of Theodore "Ted" and Edabelle
Sigler Johnson. She married Earl W. "Lefty" Gardner
on June 4, 1939 in Lincoln. He preceded her in death
on November 4, 1982.
Surviving Mrs. Gardner are her grandchildren: Keith
Gardner, Marcia (Chuck) Barekman. Daughter-in-law:
Judy Gardner, four great grandchildren Ryan Gardner,
Sara Gardner, Trisha Petersen, C.J. Barekman all of
Atlanta. a half brother: Teddy Wayne Johnson of
Florida.

She was preceded in death by her son: Earl W.
"Lefty" Gardner Jr. and one brother Paul Johnson.
Kathryn worked for twenty years at the Mountjoy Seed
Company in Atlanta and ten years at the Atlanta
Locker.
Memorials may be made to the Atlanta Rescue Squad.
