MOUNT PULASKI -- During the run Saturday morning, it was announced that the Mount Pulaski Courthouse Foundation would contribute a dollar for each signee up to $150 to the cause. The overwhelming turnout for the courthouse resulted in a $175 check being presented by Wally Kautz, site director and Mount Pulaski Courthouse Foundation member, to Mrs. Amy Phillips, the mother of Annabelle, who recently died shortly after her birth from a very unusual cancerous tumor that had wrapped itself around her brain stem.

Renee Martin was on hand providing disc jockey work and announcements throughout the day.

The courthouse register list of locales is interesting: Mount Pulaski, Lincoln, Chestnut, Elkhart, Latham, Warrensburg, Lake Fork, Cornland, Springfield, Bloomington, Normal, Bradley, Taylorville, Sherman, Chatham, Illiopolis, Decatur, Forsythe, Jacksonville, Athens, Ottawa, Hanover, Pawnee, Kincaid, Glen Ellyn, Lebanon, Oakley, Concord, Wauconda, Colfax, Hayward, Frankfort, Nokomis, McLean, Assumption, Bourbonnais, Chicago and Louisville, Ky.
