Carl Hurley, 68, of Lincoln, died Monday, March 11, 2013, at 5:40
p.m. at his home.

Lincoln- Carl Hurley, 68, of Lincoln died at 5:40
P.M. on Monday March 11, 2013 at his home.
Carl was born on October 21, 1944 in Lincoln, son of
Carl and Ruby Evelyn Dean Hurley. He was united in
marriage to Marsha Buchholz Armbrust on October 18,
1996 in Lincoln. She survives in Lincoln.
He is also survived by a daughter: Dawn Christie of
Decatur, IL; stepdaughter: Melissa (J. R. Eskew)
Helton of Middletown, IL; stepson: Justin (Trish)
Armbrust of Chandlerville, IL; brother: Richard
(Karen) Hurley of Chenoa, IL; 2 sisters: Kay Carlin
of Chestnut, IL; and Connie Harp of Lincoln;
grandchildren: Alexandria and Devin Christie; Kelby
Helton; Kaylee Helton; Peyton Frye; Kassy Eskew;
Justine Armbrust; Brendan Armbrust; and great
grandchildren: Cortez Webster and Harper White; and
many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his
brother Roy Hurley.
Carl was a retired truck driver for Garland Gehrke
Trucking for over 25 years and he served in the
United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Services for Carl will be held at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home at 10:00
A.M. on Saturday March 16, 2013. A visitation will be held from
4-7:00 P.M. on Friday March 15, 2013 also at the
funeral home. A burial will follow the service at
Zion Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Memorial
Home Hospice or St. Jude.
