Saturday morning a large gathering met at
Lincoln College for the second annual Russel Allen Garden Day, hosted
by the Logan County Master Gardeners.
The morning-long event featured several
workshops and speakers with specific expertise related to the
garden.
In addition, the north meeting room of the
Meyer-Evans Student Center was the setting for several exhibitors.
Those who set up displays included iris and lily societies, a group
representing bonsai gardening, the Lincolnland Beekeepers, folks
promoting water gardens, and a Master Gardeners group selling
items in advance of their plant sale this spring, just to
name a few.
