Illinois country grain prices were
mixed on Tuesday afternoon, with corn and wheat futures higher
and soybeans lower.
Technical buying at the Board of
Trade, strong cash markets and a slight increase in demand
helped to lift cash prices.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were 8 to 10 cents higher at 7.36-7.60.
Soybean bids were 4 to 6 cents
lower at 13.93-14.10.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were mostly 8 to 10 cents higher at 7.41-7.54.
Soybean bids were 2 to 3 cents
lower at 14.19-14.33.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 7 to 9
cents higher at 7.16-7.64.
Soybean bids were 3 cents lower at
14.04-14.45.
Wheat bids were mostly 9 to 12
cents higher at 7.17-7.37.
