 				Illinois country grain prices were 
				mixed on Thursday afternoon. 
				 
              
                Higher soybean futures gained 
				strength from sharply higher soybean meal values. 
				 
              
                Technical trading at the Board of 
				Trade and lower than expected weekly export sales figures 
				weighed on wheat prices.
 				In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted 
				shelled corn bids were steady to 2 cents lower at 7.30-7.58.
				 
              
                Soybean bids were 25 to 29 cents 
				higher at 14.35-14.50.
 				In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn 
				bids were steady to 3 cents lower at 7.42-7.58.  
              
                Soybean bids were 28 to 29 cents 
				higher at 14.58-14.73.
 				In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were steady 
				at 7.22-7.68.   
              
                Soybean bids were 26 to 29 cents 
				higher at 14.45-14.87. Wheat bids were 7 cents lower at
