MOUNT PULASKI -- Margaret C. Oglesby,
97, of Mount Pulaski, formerly of Cornland, died Wednesday, March 27,
2013, at 5:35 p.m. at Vonderlieth Living Center.

Mt. Pulaski: Margaret C. Oglesby beloved mother,
grandmother, and great grandmother, 97, of Mt. Pulaski,
formerly of Cornland, passed away at 5:35 P.M. Wednesday,
March 27, 2013 at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mt. Pulaski.
Margaret was born on March 19, 1916, daughter of Samuel
and Mary Cummins. She was united in marriage with Wilbur D.
Oglesby on November 14, 1932 in Springfield. He preceded her
in death on January 26, 1991.
Margaret is survived by her daughter: Judy Zamrazil of
Chatham, IL; grandchildren: Tamara Sears, Scott Oglesby,
Todd Doom, Randy Doom, Donna Gniewek, Tara Perry, Michelle
Van Meter, Rachel Williams; 16 great grandchildren and 7
great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
parents; son Gary; twin sister Martha, her sister Irene; her
brothers Lester and Clayton.

Margaret was a farmer's
wife, she later worked as a nurse's aide at Memorial
Medical Center, and she was a volunteer at
Vonderlieth Living Center. She was also a member of
the Cornland Christian Church and taught Sunday
school and Bible school for over 30 years.
Services for Margaret will be
held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 2 at Cornland Christian
Church in Cornland with Pastor Alan Hickerson officiating.
There will be a visitation from 5-8 P.M. on Monday April 1
at Fricke Calvert Schrader Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski.
A burial will follow the services at Carlyle Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Cornland Christian Church.
